Our Chalices of History will take you on a journey back in time, among lost myths and legends, nature and country landscapes, unique flavours and scents, in perfect assonance with authentic Sicilian tradition.
Wine tasting is a unique, special, memorable moment.
It’s more than a quick drink or a simple meal accompaniment to food.
As you approach the excellent fruits of the vines, the aromas and fragrances emanating from the glass immediately envelop you and, with curiosity or skill, you grasp the nuances of colour and flavour.
With a wine tastings you live an experience: you can almost see the twisted tendrils of the vine that thrives every season, while the grapes ripen and, from harvest to harvest, become the wine that tells our story; you can almost feel the breath of the wind, the scent of the sea, the sweet warmth of the sun, the pungent smell of the countryside.
As wise and expert explorers, our Chalices of History take you by the hand through the folds of time and history, evoking myths, legends and traditions of the past, revealing just for you the beauty of the landscape which has so much to tell through wine and its typical products.
You don’t have to be an expert sommelier to appreciate wine tastings: they are sensory experiences and, at the same time, a journey through the history and cultural traditions of the territory that anyone can enjoy. All you need is a pinch of curiosity and a lively interest in the places and lands that give wine its distinctive characteristics and make it an excellent storyteller.

The dishes and tastings that accompany our wine tasting proposals are all homemade, according to the Sicilian tradition of which our cook Anna, passionate about wine, history and Sicily, is a feisty interpreter. Like us, Anna loves simplicity and genuineness, respects seasonality and, for her recipes, chooses only typical local products.

We would also like to remind you that the wine selection for each tasting cannot be changed,
but you can add an extra glass at a cost of 3.00 euro.
